- Virtual Server
- Virtual Server Migration Toolkit
- Hyper-V
- Virtual PC
[Scroll down for the answer.]
B. The Virtual Server Migration Toolkit can be downloaded from Microsoft.com and used to perform P2V migrations.
The migration process is completed in three phases: physical machine capture, virtual machine creation, and deployment to virtual machine. This requires WDS (Windows Deployment Services), DHCP, and PXE support on the network.
Support for the following operating systems is included; NT4 w/SP6a, 2000 w/SP4, and 2003.
Tip:
VSMT does not work with Virtual PC. However, you can use VSMT to migrate V2V machines.
