DataNet Introduces Web-based Data Mining Server

DataNet Quality Systems has announced e-WinSPC, a Web-based data mining server that allows users to mine process data from many sources, analyze it against rule-based controls, and use the Internet or a corporate intranet to transmit the results. Users can also monitor the automated process in real-time using a Web browser.

Since the server has no database, e-WinSPC can mine data from different application databases. The server can then combine the retrieved data to create charts and reports based on rules-based comparisons. These reports are then ready for Web distribution. Report functions can be event- or schedule-driven and reports can be automatically set to distribute over the Web.

e-WinSPC also offers real-time process monitoring that allows users to check the status if any process or workflow in the enterprise via the Web. Availability is currently limited.
