Pop Quiz: Enabling RemoteApp Programs for RD Web Access

Q: A company's administrator needs to enable three newly installed programs for use by users of Remote Desktop Web Access.

When viewing the RemoteApp Programs list on the Remote Desktop Session Host (RD Session Host) server using RemoteApp Manager, the administrator notices some values of Yes in the RD Web Access column. How should the administrator proceed?

Click the newly installed programs and select Disable in RD Web Access
Click the newly installed programs and select Show in RD Web Access
Click the newly installed programs and select Hide in RD Web Access
Click the newly installed programs and select Enable in RD Web Access

Answer is B. When configuring programs for use using Remote Desktop Web Access, the RemoteApp Program must show a value of Yes in the RD Web Access column of the RemoteApp Programs list found in RemoteApp Manager on the RD Session Host. After clicking a program in the list, the options for Show in RD Web Access or Hide in RD Web Access are available options in the Action pane.

Quick Tip: Remote Desktop Web Access can also be configured to provide users access to virtual desktops through RemoteApp and Desktop Connection.
