Developer-Oriented Certification

12/03/2002

Novices need not apply: If a certification track can typify what Microsoft expects of those who try to achieve it, the MCAD and MCSD titles can be held up as examples. Jason Mauss, whose training firm and developer services firm, Knowledge Relay, has already trained dozens of developers on .NET technologies, explains that when Microsoft expects experience in order to achieve the MCAD and MCSD certifications, there's really no way to fake one's capabilities.

In this interview, Jason Mauss offers his insights for tackling these demanding certifications. Jason Mauss, MCAD, MCSD, MCDBA, MCT is co-founder and CTO of Knowledge Relay, LLC, providers of NET training and software development services. Jason's also a contributing author to several .NET publications in print and on the Web, including http://www.vsdotnetguru.com.
