Interop Systems released
Interop Secure Shell, a solution for
running secure client and server console and file transfer sessions between
Windows, Unix and Linux systems. Interop Secure Shell builds on the new Windows
Subsystem for Unix-Based Applications (SUA) available with R2. Pricing starts
at $59; volume and site license pricing are available.

Xiotech Corp. announced that it has certified VMware ESX Server
for use with its Magnitude 3D network storage systems. The combination
of Magnitude 3D tiered storage systems with VMware ESX Server enables midsized
enterprises to deploy a fully virtualized storage and server environment. VMware
ESX Server 2.5 currently is certified with Magnitude 3D 1000e, 1000s, 3000e
and 3000s systems. VMware ESX Server 3.0 is expected to become available in
the second quarter of 2006, and Xiotech plans on fully supporting VMware ESX

Idera, a provider of management and administration solutions for Microsoft
SQL Server, announced the availability of SQLsafe version 3.0, a backup
and recovery solution for SQL Server databases. SQLsafe provides fast-compressed
and secure-encrypted backup, automates multi-server backup, and eases management
of SQL Server backup and restores across large SQL Server environments. Other
features include Intel Itanium 2 and x64 support, a Web console for monitoring
backup and recovery operations, and enhanced integration with .NET 2.0. Priced

LSI Logic announced the availability of Replication Express (REx)
for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, an automated, disk-to-disk backup solution
for Exchange databases. Developed by the company’s Engenio Storage Group,
REx leverages the Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service to provide near-continuous

Vail Systems released its new Vail SIP Telephony Interface Manager
(TIM) 1.1 for Microsoft Speech Server 2004 R2 and Windows 2003 Standard
and Enterprise Editions. TIM is designed to facilitate integration and management
of standards-based speech IVR solutions with VoIP networks, gateways and other

Entuity Inc. recently released version 4.5 of its network management
suite, Eye of the Storm. The latest version is able to discover and control
