Like a racecar driver pulling in for a pitstop, developing competitive business applications has become an ongoing challenge to see how quickly you can get the car back on the track to keep running.

It’s all about resilience and continuous improvement through extreme granularity. The Dev folks give the Ops team the application to deploy. The very next thing they do is to ask the driver, in this case the user, to tell them what the app needs. Ops quickly brings that feedback back to Dev who immediately incorporate it into the code and give it back to Ops to update. DevOps can do that because they’re only working on the microservices needed to create improvement, packing them into containers, and getting them right back out the door.

It's a culture challenge because everyone has to be committed to cooperating in making the updates move faster. Some companies are churning out more than 100 updates PER DAY!

It’s called cloud-native because it’s the ideal architecture for cloud computing. Microservices packed in containers traverse the network at light speed, and the DevOps team has to keep the cycle of improvement going as fast as possible using Kubernetes and a host of other tools. 2023 will see enormous growth of this new way of creating success through software. You need to know how it works so you can keep up with it. Join this session to learn what you need to know.
