Same day, in 1998, the first trial of human RFID went live in the United Kingdom. And a shout out to Pepsi, who techies crave for its peppiness. It was introduced on Aug. 28, 1898. I know it's not tech-related, but really, what techie doesn't drink soda while being a desk jockey?
