NIST SP 800-171 for Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Non Federal Systems and Organizations
Date: Tuesday, May 30 at 11am PT / 2pm ET
Government created or owned information that isn't sensitive but which needs dissemination controls is categorized as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). A breach in 2014 that targeted the US Office of Personal Management (OPM) exposed the personal details of 21 million government employees. The sensitivity of CUI and its relevance to national security make it highly vulnerable to threats, and especially when it resides in nonfederal systems. Guidelines governing CUI did not exist until recently, which made it easy for adversaries to access it. With the change in organizational networks, traditional security is not enough to fortify critical assets.
With the recently issued NIST SP 800-171 standard featuring essential requirements and practices to secure CUI, non-federal systems can now implement mission-critical security measures.
In this webinar, we'll share how ManageEngine AD360 helps you be compliant.
You'll learn about:
- How has NIST evolved to keep up with the changing cybersecurity landscape?
- What is the cost of non-compliance while dealing with federal data?
- Who does NIST SP 800-171 affect?
- How does ManageEngine's AD360 help you gain NIST compliance?
