CMS Offers New Mail Management Software

Computer Mail Services Inc. released Praetor 1.5, the latest version of its rule-based Microsoft Exchange plug-in designed to proactively filter viruses and unwanted spam. Praetor 1.5 includes several new features to manage and filter e-mail, including time support for non-Exchange users.
Other features include a new message redirect feature; remote management of quarantined messages; message traffic statistics; and the ability for Praetor to be loaded onto a Windows NT workstation to protect any Internet mail server.
Praetor functions as a firewall, sitting in front of an e-mail server and monitoring incoming and outgoing e-mail at both the SMTP and message levels.
