Microsoft Decision Delayed

CNNfn reports that Judge Jackson has given DOJ more time to prepare, in light of filing made by Microsoft last Wednesday.

CNNfn reports that Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson late Thursday granted the Department of Justice until the morning of June 5 to respond to Microsoft's latest salvo that was issued last Wednesday in its history-making antitrust case. Microsoft will then have until June 7 to reply to the DOJ's filing. The extension came at the request of the government during a conference call.

A decision is now expected to be handed down possibly on Friday, June 9. For a detailed report, go to http://cnnfn.com/2000/06/01/technology/microsoft/.
