Heroix Releases RoboMon 7.6

Heroix Corp. released the latest update of its infrastructure management solution, RoboMon 7.6. RoboMon is automated software that provides problem detection, reporting, graphing, and centralized monitoring for Microsoft BackOffice, Citrix, Oracle, Lotus Notes/Domino, Cisco, Insight Manager, and other server platforms.

The new release includes built-in sensors that monitor the availability and performance of Microsoft Site Server 3.0, Microsoft Terminal Server 2000, and Windows Load Balancing (WLBS), as well as Veritas' Backup Exec and CA's ARCserve.

RoboMon's new Site Server sensors will notify administrators proactively of problems with Site Server 3.0 and Site Server 3.0 Commerce Edition that could compromise the ability to service online users or process online transactions. RoboMon will also alert staff to potential break-in attempts, and will automatically detect changes in workload that could have detrimental effects on e-commerce system performance.

RoboMon's new Terminal Server 2000 sensors supplement its existing sensors for Citrix Winframe/Metaframe and Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition. The software now checks for problems that could impair Terminal Server 2000 performance or prevent users from connecting.
