Microsoft Case Heads Back to Lower Court
High court refuses to decide on case, opting instead to send it to appellate courts first.
According to several online reports, the U.S. Supreme Court
has sent Microsoft's antitrust case back into the hands of
the appellate courts. The decision means a small
but important victory for Microsoft, since it gives
Microsoft another chance to argue its case. Back in June,
the Justice Department had originally advised U.S.
District Judge Jackson to send the case straight to the
Supreme Court for timely resolution.
