CMD Introduces New RAID Controllers

CMD Technology Inc. introduced its CRD-7400 Fibre
Channel-to-Fibre Channel and CRD-7040 Ultra 160 SCSI RAID controllers to its
TitanTM family of RAID controllers.
The new CRD-7400 and 7040, utilizing third generation CMD
Titan architecture, provides high-end availability, performance, and data
integrity for mission-critical applications. The 7400 controller supports two
Fibre Channel (FC-AL) host ports, two Fibre Channel (FC-AL) disk ports with up
to 248 Fibre Channel disk drives, while the 7040 supports two Ulra160 SCSI host
channels, two Ultra160 SCSI disk channels, and up to 28 SCSI drives.
