Veritas Corp. has added features to its Remote Storage for
Exchange to fully support the new functionality in Windows 2000.
Remote Storage for Exchange 2.0 moves old attachments from
server storage to a secondary storage device, such as a tape library. This
allows administrators to keep primary storage available for new mail messages.
Remote Storage for Exchange now integrates with Veritas’
latest release of its data protection software, NetBackup and BackupExec.
Veritas considers these three products elements of its Veritas Protection Suite
for Microsoft Exchange - Datacenter.
