Symantec Unleashes 7.0 Version of Ghost

Symantec Corp. issued the 7.0 version of its PC management software, Symantec Ghost Enterprise Edition.
The established software allows administrators to remotely clone, deploy, configure, back up, restore and distribute software and user-specific images to network and mobile PCs.
New features include user migration for moving user data and settings from one PC to another, incremental backup, support for 3Com NIC boot services and support for Microsoft's system preparation tool.
Ghost 7.0 is certified for Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Server through VeriTest, which conducts application testing for Microsoft.
