Two More .NET Developer Exams Get Beta Tested Next Week

MCAD.NET/MCSD.NET tracks pick up speed as Web versions of the VB .NET, Visual C# .NET exams get scrutinized by testers.

Next week, Microsoft will put two more exams for the .NET developer tracks under the scrutiny of beta testers:

Both beta exams will be available from July 5 to July 12. During the beta process, the exams will be numbered 71-305 and 71-315, respectively.

Microsoft plans to release these exams in August. Nevertheless, candidates who begin the MCAD/MCSD.NET process now won't be able to complete the whole track until next year—Microsoft expects to release the beta version of Exam 70-300, Analyzing Requirements and Defining .NET Solution Architectures, sometime in the first quarter of 2003.

Microsoft offers beta exams on an invitation-only basis. To find out more about participating in future beta exams, go to http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcpexams/status/beta.asp.
