Two key MCDBA exams beta testing dates announced.

Late-breaking beta news: Microsoft plans to beta test the Administering SQL Server 7.0 (70-028) and Implementing a Database Design on SQL Server 7.0 (70-029) exams at the end of this month. These are two core exams in the newest premium certification track, the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, which was announced at Comdex/Fall 98. (Check our News Archive at http://www.mcpmag.com/mcparchives.asp to read our previous news announcement regarding the MCDBA.)

The Administering SQL 7.0 exam will be beta tested February 23 through March 1; the Implementing portion will beta a day later, from February 24 through March 5. Both exams will be available only through Sylvan Testing Centers during the beta period. MCP Magazine has already set up two discussion threads on these two, much-anticipated exams in the Discussion Forums.
