Oracle Provides HR Software for E-Business

Oracle Corp. introduced Oracle Advanced Benefits, a new software package to help companies retain and compensate employees. Advanced Benefits is a component of the forthcoming Oracle Applications 11i.

Oracle Advanced Benefits integrates front and back end applications. By leveraging the integration between human resource systems and call center technologies, Advanced Benefits enables benefits administrators and call center representatives to have immediate access to up-to-date employee information. A benefits portal provides a comprehensive picture of an employee's relevant benefits information from which call center representatives can easily look up commonly used forms for counseling and capturing enrollments.

Advanced Benefits also includes functionality for modeling the impact of proposed life events on a person's eligibility for benefits, such as the impact of transferring location. Advanced Benefits also supports complete benefit registration through automatic, life event, and open enrollment methods.
