When attempting to migrate a 64-bit VM from Windows 2008 Hyper-V into Virtual Server 2005 R2 running on 32-bit hardware, you receive the following error: "the virtual machine is not supported." What could be the problem?

  1. Windows 2008 hyper-V only supports 64-bit VMs
  2. Virtual Server 2005 R2 does not support VM migration
  3. Virtual Server 2005 R2 only supports 32-bit VMs
  4. Migration of VMs between Hyper-V and VS 2005 R2 is not supported

C. Virtual Server 2005 R2 only supports 32-bit VMs. Hyper-V supports both 32-bit and 64-bit VMs.
