Microsoft Learning Retakes Available on MCSD Exams

Microsoft Learning's Second Shot program will allow those that have taken an exam and failed to retake the test for free through May 31, 2014.

The retake offer is available for a good number of Microsoft on-site and online proctor exams, including those for the Microsoft Certified Software Developer certifications:

MCSD Windows Store Apps Using HTML5

  • 480 Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS5
  • 481 Essentials of Developing Windows Store Apps using HTML5 and JavaScript
  • 482 Advanced Windows Store App Development using HTML5 and JavaScript

MCSD Web Applications

  • (Elective) 480 Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS5
  • 486 Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications
  • 487 Developing Windows Azure and Web Services

MCSD: SharePoint Applications

  • (Elective) 480 Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS5
  • 486 Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications
  • 488 Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions
  • 489 Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Advanced Solutions

MCSD: Windows Store Apps Using C#

  • 483 Programming in C#
  • 484 Essentials of Developing Windows Store Apps using C#
  • 485 Advanced Windows Store App Development using C#

MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management

  • 496 Administering Microsoft Visual Studio Foundation Server
  • 497 Software Testing with Visual Studio
  • 498 Delivering Continuous Value with Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management

Exams are $150 in the U.S. and are available at Pearson VUE testing centers, and some exams are available via online proctored delivery. To find out more about taking exams, start here
