From Fusion 99: MCTs Must Have MCSE, MCSD title
Microsoft Certified Trainers will need to obtain MCSE or MCSD titles as part of their training credential, plus two new frameworks to be introduced.
July 23, 1999 (San Francisco) -- Microsoft will require Microsoft Certified Trainers to obtain MCSE or MCSD titles as part of their training credential, according to John Connors, vice president of the worldwide enterprise group at the company. Connors made the remark during a speech at Fusion 99, the company's business conference for solution providers, Connors also said a new benefit package would be introduced during fiscal year 2000 (Microsoft's fiscal year 2000 began July 1, 1999).
