Simware to Release Portal Enabling Technology

Simware Inc. announced plans to release SalvoLink 1.0, a Web portal enabling technology, at the end of October. SalvoLink will provide a development framework to enable information-portal manufacturers and users to leverage information and management processes residing in corporate business systems. Using SalvoLink's business logic engine and access capabilities, companies can provide access to information to their own employees as well as their business partners.

SalvoLink's server-based engine and visual configuration environment is built on Simware's Salvo technology. Salvo offers the ability to access most enterprise resources and encapsulate that information in business objects, abstract representations of systems and data which can be reconfigured as necessary and can be accessed through industry standard interfaces.
