Sunbelt Adds UltraAdmin to NT Product List

Sunbelt Software Distribution, a distributor of Windows NT system management utilities, has added Dorian Software Creations' UltraAdmin to its list of NT utilities. UltraAdmin is a centralized domain administrative tool that is interoperable between Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 users and groups.

UltraAdmin is built with the Microsoft Active Directory Service Interface (ADSI). UltraAdmin will migrate to Windows 2000 with relative ease since it is built with similar network components. The use of ADSI, in conjunction with the UltraAdmin Software Development Kit (SDK) will allow administrators to manage and automate server applications such as Microsoft Exchange Server and Internet Information Server in the near future.

UltraAdmin is able to auto-detect operating system (OS) versions in mixed-platform domains. Because of its ability to auto-detect, UltraAdmin will be able to expand or contract administrative tasks based on the individual machine's operating system.

UltraAdmin's interface allows the system administrator to partition the network into more manageable subsets by filtering domain views by computer type. The application also conducts ping verification tests, preventing network timeouts.
