Percussion Software Introduces XML Converter

Percussion Software has introduced XSplit, a utility that converts HTML pages into XML for e-commerce and other applications. With XSplit, developers can create the XML and XSL equivalents of their HTML pages without learning XML or coding the pages by hand. XSplit is a component of Percussion's recently announced XML Data Server product Rhythmyx, which dynamically serves structured data from relational databases into Web pages.
By internally separating dynamic page content into XML and static page formatting into XSL style sheets, applications are both powerful and maintainable. This approach is different from others that embed data access logic into the HTML page. By automating the separation and recombination, XSplit makes XML accessible to standard HTML browsers.
