PowerQuest Rolls Out PartitionMagic and ServerMagic

PowerQuest Corp. announced PartitionMagic 6.0 and ServerMagic 4.0 for Windows NT.

PartitionMagic adds native Windows 2000 Professional and Windows Me support, as well as the ability to split and undelete partitions.

PartitionMagin allows users to create, resize, split, merge, undelete, and convert partitions on the hard drive without destroying data. PartitionMagic includes BootMagic, a boot manager for running multiple operating systems, which features a GUI.

ServerMagic adds support for Windows NT volume sets and functionality for creating, formatting, copying, moving, or deleting partitions to or from a remote machine via TCP/IP. ServerMagic also resizes, merges, and manipulates FAT and FAT32 volume segments in real time to minimize system downtime.
