WebWasher Introduces Enterprise Edition of Internet Management Package

WebWasher.com AG, a developer of Internet filtering
software, launched a new server-based enterprise version of its WebWasher
intelligent Internet management software.
WebWasher Enterprise Edition (EE) will scale to support thousands
of client computers running Windows NT, Sun Solaris, or Linux in corporate and
enterprise environments with full remote administration.
WebWasher EE can selectively filter the HTTP data stream to
block objects in Web sites without blocking the entire site. Filtered objects,
such as pop-ups or .exe and .avi files, never reach the corporate network.
All WebWasher log files and filter lists use standard
formats that support system administration tools for analysis and reporting.
Interfaces can be made between WebWasher’s proxy-server position and other key
system components such as firewalls and caches via open content and security
protocols such as ICAP.
