Oracle 9i App Server Appliance is Here

The Oracle 9i Application Server Appliance began shipping
this week through Compaq Computer Corp. resellers.
The appliance features the Compaq ProLiant DL360 ultra-thin
2-way server and Web Cache technology from Oracle. Sun and HP will offer the
new appliance soon. The appliance was announced just a few weeks ago at Comdex
Fall in Las Vegas by Larry Ellison, Oracle’s chairman and CEO.
