Knosys to Support Microsoft XML for Analysis

Knosys, a provider of analytic front-end technology for
Microsoft’s .NET platform, announced plans to support Microsoft’s XML for
Analysis protocol for providing open data access for multi-dimensional analysis
and data mining. The entire Knosys ProClarity product family will support the
new protocol.
As part of Microsoft’s .NET initiative, the XML for Analysis
protocol enhances the OLE DB standard by using the Internet as the platform for
building analytical applications from any data source. The new protocol, built
on HTTP, CML, and SOAP technologies, allows developers to provide analytic capabilities
to any client on any device or platform using any programming language.
