OTG Adds Linux, Unix Support to DiskXtender

Looking to expand the reach of its storage software solution, OTG Software recently announced the general availability of DiskXtender for Unix and DiskXtender for Linux. Previously, DiskXTender was a Windows NT/2000-specific product.

DiskXtender for Unix provides automated storage management and access to secondary storage media such as tape, optical, and DVD-RAM for cost-effective storage and also provides high throughput data movement of hundreds of megabytes per second. It supports Sun Solaris, HP-UX, SGI, IRIX and Compaq Tru 64 Unix.
