Internet Security Systems Inc. announced that its intrusion
detection solution, RealSecure, now supports Windows 2000.
The ISS RealSecure family includes RealSecure Server Sensor,
Network Sensor, and RealSecure maangers, the consoles which manage all
RealSecure products across the enterprise.
RealSecure is a component of the ISS SAFEsuite security
management platform. RealSecure is a powerful, automated, real time intrusion
protection system for networks and hosts. It provides continuous network and
host surveillance that automatically intercepts and responds to security
breaches and network abuse before systems are compromised.
RealSecure offers diversified sensors and management
consoles. Network Server runs on a dedicated system that monitors network
traffic for attack signatures. Server Sensor provides real time intrusion
monitoring, detection, and prevention of malicious activity by analyzing
kernel-level events, host logs, and network activity on critical servers.
