Fax Line Embraces W2K

GFI Fax & Voice USA LLC enhanced its line of network fax solutions with the release of FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP 8. The new product includes a Windows 2000 fax server, which supports Windows 2000 fax modem drivers that offer broad hardware support.

Network users of FAXmaker can do their fax duties from their desktops, using the FAXmaker client or an e-mail client. For instance, users of the new product can use Outlook 98 or 2000 as the fax client.

A FAXmaker version for Exchange users is available. FAXmaker for Networks/SMTP 8 also supports a digital sender that allows users to send paper document via the fax server.
