Configuresoft Inc. announced that its Enterprise Configuration Manager (ECM) product can help eliminate the security vulnerabilities recently seen in major corporate networks and reported on in recent weeks.
ECM gathers configuration information from all Windows NT/2000 machines connectd to a network and provides an enterprise view of configuration settings, including the presence or absence of critical security patches. This capability also enables enterprises to proactively identify and correct machine configurations that are currently vulnerable to costly security breaches, and prevent security holes in the future.
