enVision 2.1 from
Network Intelligence
offers enhanced centralized control of global security on enterprise networks.
The security event management software is available for all Network Intelligence
Engine EX, HA and LS series appliances and has expanded support for Microsoft
IIS and Apache web servers, as well as iSCSI.

Intradyn announced that it will bundle its upgraded
line of e-mail archiving and retrieval appliances with Sony AIT WORM tape cartridges.
Under the collaboration, Intradyn’s ComplianceVault
devices—which help SMBs comply with SEC, NYSE and NASD e-mail retention and
availability requirements—will come with either AIT-2 or AIT-3 tape libraries.
The three ComplianceVault rack-mountable, hardware/software solutions with bundled

P3400 USB fingerprint reader, an authentication device for users to log

its
D-Link Web Smart switches aimed at delivering
Gigabit speed and smart web management, priced affordably for small-to-medium
sized businesses (SMB). While they are simple to use as unmanaged switches out
of the box, the intuitive web browser interface offers management features found
in managed switches. The line includes the 48-port, 2-combo SFP (small form-factor

Foundry Networks announced availability of full Layer
3 support for its
FastIron Edge X series of small
form-factor 10-Gigabit Ethernet switches. The full Layer 3 upgrade package supports
Internet routing protocols and multicast routing protocols as well as more secure
network access capabilities, including 802.1X authentication, dynamic VLAN assignment,
access control lists and MAC filter group with 802.1x authentication.
