From the business wires this week: Group Policy solutions for managing desktop policies and software deployments; security tools for IE, e-mail and TCP/IP; and mobile tokens.

FullArmor Corp. and NetIQ Corp. announced Tuesday at the Microsoft Management Summit that they have partnered to provide integrated end-to-end automation solutions for managing desktop policies. FullArmor announced that the availability of its IntelliPolicy Connector, which connects FullArmor IntelliPolicy for Clients to NetIQ Group Policy Administrator v4.6. NetIQ will market and resell FullArmor IntelliPolicy for Clients as part of its Group Policy Suite. NetIQ’s Group Policy Suite starts at $20 per user. Outpost’s Browser Adjustment plug-in for Internet Explorer gives users more control over the Web browser, providing increased privacy and security. The plug-in tool blocks pop-ups, images and other unwanted or inappropriate content, such as automatic script execution, cookie aggregation and referrer transitions. http://www.agnitum.com

FastServers.Net announced it will offer its Helm Control Panel as part of its managed dedicated server platform. With Helm, server admins can take advantage of an array of features for Windows-based hosting on a single- or multi-server solution. MicroWorld Technologies has released a free networking tool for monitoring TCP/IP activity on Windows-based computers.
