From the business wires this week: pre-configured Microsoft Exchange 2003 migration packages, a software deployment solution, an automated disk defragger and a search engine for Microsoft Exchange.

Dell announced the launch of a program to provide pre-configured server, storage and software packages and professional migration services for business customers upgrading to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 prior to Dec. 31 this year. Pre-configured migration packages are available to customers with fewer than 100 e-mail users and up to 5,000 mailboxes. Additional services include Exchange Migration Readiness Assessment, Active Directory Design and Deployment, and Training for Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange Server 2003 or Active Directory. http://www.dell.com/exchange

AJC Software released AJC Directory Synchronizer V2.1, a Windows utility for comparing and synchronizing two directory structures on one computer or two networked computers. The program runs on Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/2003/XP and costs $29 for a single-user license. http://www.ajcsoft.com

JNetDirect Incorporated released JSQLConnect 5.0, a native Type-4 JDBC driver providing scalable and reliable connectivity for the enterprise Java environment.
