Knowledge is Power
Finding exactly what you want in Microsoft's Knowledge Base can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Here's a site to help sort the mess.
Sometimes it seems like the Microsoft Knowledge Base has answers for every
question you might ask -- including maybe even who’ll win the next World
Series -- if only you could find the right article.
That’s why you should spend a few minutes each morning looking at www.kbalertz.com,
an independent Web site that summarizes daily Knowledge Base additions (you
can subscribe for e-mail alerts, too, or get the latest 25 articles as an RSS
newsfeed).
New articles are broken down by category, so you can just scan through the
titles of those that apply to Microsoft products running in your environment.
It’s a great way to keep updated on what’s new in the Knowledge
Base. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t provide access to anything but the
public-level Knowledge Base (additional levels exist for Partners and for Microsoft
employees), but it’s a great way to stay on top of the latest bugs, fixes
and issues that Microsoft has documented for public consumption.
