Event Alarm 4, the latest version of
its event log monitoring tool. Enhancements include log scanning statistics,
improved log scanning times, support for Organizational Units in Active Directory
and an improved Listener Console.

SmartLine Inc. released DeviceLock Plug-and-Play Auditor, a free
clientless utility for monitoring portable devices connected to a network via
USB, IEEE 1394 or PCMIA. The software allows you to select computers for auditing
directly from the Microsoft Network tree or from any LDAP tree and supports

Digipede Technologies announced Digipede Network 1.2, featuring
full support for .NET 2.0. The grid computing solution integrates with and supports
Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005. With Digipede Framework API’s
support for .NET 1.1, .NET 2.0 and COM, developers can design distributed applications
in the Visual Studio environment. Digipede Network comes in two versions: a
Team Edition for networks of up to 20 computers and a Professional Edition with

Quest Software announced the general availability of version 6.0 of
Quest Spotlight on Active Directory, the company’s diagnostic and
troubleshooting tool for Active Directory. New features include a Verify
DNS Health test, which tests DNS health and responsiveness, and Web-based reports
that provide trending information about AD performance over time. Pricing starts

PassGo Technologies updated its two-factor authentication product with
the release of Defender 5.2. The solution leverages the features of Active

code generator for Visual Studio .NET. Tangible Architect 3.0 features
a new model-driven drag-and-drop user interface designer as well as an automatic
transaction mode to ease application prototyping, database schema verification,
extended query API and enhanced project wizards. Integrates with Visual Studio

Malguard Services is inviting all serious hackers to try to successfully
hack its special HACME box at the URL “seasprite.malguard.com” (or,
IP address “65.121.221.230”). Since the HACME Challenge started
on Sept. 6, no one has been able to hack into the box. The information security

Wavigo announced support for Google instant messaging and e-mail services
in its cross-IM platform, multimedia player. Now, Wavigo users can chat in Google
Talk -- as well as on Yahoo, MSN, AOL Skype and ICQ -- and receive notifications
of new e-mail in their Google Gmail accounts. Wavigo can be downloaded for free
