Career Assist Combines Second Shot with E-Learning Discounts
Microsoft provides discounts to try its E-Learning courses for those who register for its Second Shot program.
The Microsoft Learning Group is providing incentives for cash-strapped exam takers by way of discounts for its E-Learning courses. Dubbed "Career Assist," the incentive is a combination of the popular Second Shot exam retake program along with a significant discount toward a Microsoft E-Learning Collection.
The offer is simple: Anyone who plans to take an exam should first register into the Second Shot program. Registrants are then provided with a promotional code that can be used to take a failed exam for free, and another promotional code that can be applied toward one Microsoft E-Learning Collection.
The offer is significant -- normally $350 for a collection, the code reduces it to $35. The catch is that it can be applied only once and the collection's materials are available for only 90 days.
The Second Shot program itself allows exam takers who register into the program to retake a failed exam one time. The Career Assist program incentives must be used up before June 30, 2009.
