Answer and explanation is below.
Answer is B: A fixed VHD has an allocated size that does not change, and when created, a fixed VHD that is 100GB will be approximately 100GB regardless of the data that is written to it -- offering the best performance. When a dynamically expanding disk is expanded, the host volume could run out of space and cause write operations to fail. Dynamically expanding VHDs are useful in nonproduction environments, where storage requirements often change.
Quick Tip: A Windows 7 Native Boot VHD can be used as the running operating system without any other operating system installed on the computer. A Windows 7 image can be deployed to the VHD and it can be copied to multiple computers -- BCDEdit can be used to boot directly to the VHD.
