Applies to the "Plan and implement a server virtualization infrastructure" objective of Exam 70-414.
Q: A company's IT team is in the planning stage of implementing highly available virtual machines on a guest failover cluster using the shared VHDx technology in Windows Server 2012 R2.
Which of the following can be configured as a shared VHDx? (Choose all that apply.)
- Host Disk
- Operating System Disk
- Data Disk

Answers are C and D. Only Data Disks and Witness Disks can be configured as a shared VHDx.
Quick Tip: Do not configure Operating Systems Disks as a shared VHDx. Doing so will cause the cluster to fail.
