Oracle Previews Release 11i

At this week's Oracle Applications User Conference in Paris, Oracle Corp. previewed Oracle Applications Release 11i. Release 11i will allow companies to fully transform themselves into e-businesses and to run their worldwide business systems from a central site.

Oracle's Release 11i allows users to put their customer interactions, internal operations, and supply chain online. It enables companies to run with a single, comprehensive global system. This is accomplished by running completely from a single code base, including localizations, currencies, languages, and other specialized enhancements, eliminating integration issues between different versions of the applications.

Release 11i is built on the Oracle Internet Platform, leveraging the parallel server capabilities of Oracle 8i.
