OSA Delivers Laptop Support for SMS

Open Software Associates is shoring up the software deployment capabilities in Microsoft’s Systems Management Server for laptop users and other occasionally connected or remote users.
OSA’s NetDeploy Global for SMS was first announced in October and became available on Monday.
One of the biggest benefits of the software is that it retains the state of a software download. An interrupted download picks up at the same point when a connection with the server is restored.
OSA’s software also allows client computers to search for another server when a connection is broken on the server side and pick up the download where it left off.
