Quantum/ATL Ships Tape Library Solution for Mixed Storage

Quantum/ATL is shipping an enterprise tape library for mixed storage environments.
The P3000 Gemini series library combines a Gigabit Ethernet-based backup solution for data on Network Appliance filers and a Fibre Channel-based backup solution for Storage Area Network resources.
The library can support up to eight DLT tape drives and is certified for use with Veritas NetBackup. Quantum/ATL says other backup software will be certified with the solution shortly.
Quantum/ATL suggests a starting price of $112,565.
