.NET Exam for Enterprise Developers Now Available

Microsoft Learning Group also plans to launch multi-language versions of SQL Server exams in April.

The Microsoft Learning Group is expected to launch a handful of new-generation exams during April and has already released Exam 70-529 TS: .NET Framework 2.0-Distributed Application Development last Friday, April 7. The exam is one of two that are required to satisfy the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Distributed Applications title. (One other exam, 70-536 TS: .NET Framework 2.0-Application Development Foundation, has been available since March 1.)

Exam 70-529 is also among several exams that make up the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Enterprise Applications Developer certification (the complete list for the MCPD: Enterprise Applications Developer is at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcpd/entapp/).

(The exam objective guide for 70-529 states that those holding MCAD or MCSD for .NET can bypass this exam and the other requirements for the MCPD by taking two upgrade exams that are expected to be released around May.)

In other news, Microsoft has also released Exam 70-431 TS: SQL Server 2005-Implementation and Maintenance in German, Japanese and French language versions. The English version has been available worldwide since January 30. The company also plans to release multi-language versions of other new-gen exams later this month:
